I’m Chris Gilmore, a graduate student clinician in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at
the University of the Cumberlands. My professional path began with 18 years in higher
education leadership, where I supported adult learners in navigating life transitions. That experience, combined with my own personal growth journey, led me to the therapy space, where I now help clients explore challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools.
I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and identity exploration.
My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients can process their
experiences, heal from trauma, build resilience, and reconnect with what matters most
to them. I work from a trauma-informed, client-centered foundation, using person-
centered and existential perspectives to guide my work. I also use EMDR to help clients
process painful experiences in a safe and structured way.
I currently provide therapy under the supervision of Dr. Crystal Wildes at Insight
Psychology. My clinical work includes supporting individuals, couples, and children
through challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and major life changes. I focus on offering
both a collaborative relationship and practical strategies that clients can carry into their
daily lives.
The most meaningful part of this work is walking alongside clients as they begin to feel
more grounded, hopeful, and confident in themselves. Witnessing people discover their own resilience and create change in their lives is an incredible privilege.
I live in Evergreen with my husband and our eight-year-old daughter. I love being a dad,
reading (my Kindle is always nearby), hiking, and road-tripping the great state of
Colorado.

I was born in Hong Kong and grew up between Hong Kong and Singapore, which gave me adeep respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and perspectives. I went on to study Neuroscienceat the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and later lived in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, Scottsdale, and Denver. These experiences shaped my interest in understanding how people perceive and navigate the world and inspired me to pursue a career in mental health.
I approach therapy with empathy, curiosity, and flexibility, tailoring each session to the unique needs of my clients. My work is person-centered and trauma-informed, and I draw on approaches such as EMDR, CBT, and mindfulness practices. I especially enjoy supporting children, adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and pursue meaningful growth.
I am currently providing therapy under the supervision of Dr. Crystal Wildes at Insight
Psychology, LLC. My experience includes working with children, adults, and families, and I continue to build my skills in trauma-focused and evidence-based interventions.
What excites me most about being a therapist is walking alongside clients as they uncover their strengths, reconnect with their values, and create meaningful change in their lives. I find it deeply rewarding to witness clients grow in self-understanding and resilience.
Outside of my professional life, I love exploring new destinations, reading philosophy, staying active through workouts, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy quality time with friends, which helps me stay grounded and balanced.

My name is Meredith Boyd, and I am a doctoral student at the University of Denver. I
received my MA in Counseling Psychology in 2021 and decided to go back to school to
continue learning more and narrowing my interests. I have worked with a trauma-
informed approach since my MA and deeply enjoy this work.
I take a trauma-informed and client-centered approach, integrating EMDR, somatic, and mindfulness-based interventions to support clients on their healing journey. I am
interested in Perinatal Health and supporting new parents and little ones during their
transition.
I am currently providing therapy to individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, and life
transitions under the supervision of Dr. Crystal Wildes at Insight Psychology, LLC.
It is so exciting to watch clients grow and reach their goals despite what they may have
gone through in the past or are going through now. Everyone deserves to feel peace
and happiness, and it is an honor to be a witness for each of my client’s journeys.
I have a Golden Retriever puppy who keeps me on my toes. Despite the early mornings
and late nights, nothing beats going home to see her waiting in the window for me. She
wags her tail so much that her whole body wags!
